If one is going to apply to UT Austin for transfer, do they apply after they have 30 credits? Or can they apply while they are in the process of getting the 30 credits?

Sorry if it's a stupid question. I looked it up and while I found an answer, it wasn't clear enough for me :P

You apply while you are in the process of getting the 30 hours. Since the deadline for transfers is usually March 1st, you just have to meet all the other requirements by then such as sending a transcript that shows your current classes, submitting your essays and resumes etc. You won’t get the decision until you send the final transcript after you finish the semester showing you have 30 hours.
