<p>some prospective applicants are invited to utilize a blue ribbon application by brandeis (from other threads, it is not quite clear how brandeis chooses who to send these invitations to), blue ribbon applications allow applicants to submit by a certain date (forget what it was) to get a nonbinding decision by early feb. those are the decisions you are now hearing about here.</p>

<p>just - fyi - they have a new director of admissions this year, so i wouldn't assume that everything would run its course exactly like last year.</p>
