When will my status change?

It has aid this for over two weeks: Your application to Michigan State University has been received. Please ensure that your high school transcripts and official ACT or SAT scores, with writing, are sent to MSU. Once all material has been received and processed, an initial decision will be rendered within 12 weeks.

My final document (transcript) was received on Aug. 19th, so everything is in. Will my status stay the same until a decision is made? Or will it change when they process my application?

I don’t think they start reviewing applications until Oct 1. Watch your portal. It may likely update and say “under review” or something to that affect. Go back and look at my thread from last year that I posted when my son applied. It should have about the same timeline this year as last year. Good luck!
