I got rejected from my 'safety' a few days ago, too. It's pretty ironic and needless to say I was very discouraged, but it works out in the end!</p>

<p>GossipGirl, my stats are probably not nearly as impressive as yours. My ACT was 30. My GPA is 3.59, and I probably will take either one AP test or several CLEP tests. My school doesn't rank.
Honestly, I think the "hook" that I have is that I am a 2-time cancer survivor whose grades and rank absolutely reeked the first two years of school but turned around a full 180 during the last two. Sadly, though, the grades from the first two remained.
I visited Bucknell last June and really like it. I'll ask to remain on their waitlist, but not hold my breath.<br>
