Someone just asked this on another thread, so I did some research (since D was ED and I didn’t know) from past years.

It looks like last year RD folks heard around March 24th, and the year before that March 26th, so that may give some idea. Here’s the RD Results thread from last year, which also gives some idea of stats…

Good luck to all who applied this year. D knows several folks who were accepted ED this year, and it looks to be another incredibly talented incoming MT class!

I’ve just heard that some people have just gotten their decision e-mail.

Good luck everyone! From the ED kids D knows, the NU class of 2016 will be VERY talented!!

I got in! Just found out! SO HAPPY! :’)

@mahekisco, Congratulations! So happy for your!

@maheksico - CONGRATULATIONS!!

I was waitlisted… yay but at least it’s not a rejection right? Cause I’ve had enough of those already!

@gabbadabadoo - Congratulations!! I know there are lots of folks who would LOVE to have made the waitlist… and D knows people who got in off the waitlist in prior years, so keep the faith!

My fingers are crossed for you!!

Good luck, gabbadabadoo! I know it’s so frustrating to be waitlisted but everything always works out for the best. I was deferred from my ED school and now I am extremely happy that I was because, even though my counselor says I have a very good shot at getting in RD, I think I might choose some of my other schools over it now anyway, now that I’ve put things into perspective. And i know someone else who was waitlisted from NU but then realized that another school was a better fit anyway. Everything really does work out for the best! Anyway, I know someone who got into NU off the waitlist from last year - when their yield was higher than they expected, too - so there’s definitely still hope! Good luck and I really hope I see you at NU next year!
