When will Rutgers Honors College notifications come out?

@stressedgirl21 I think @Jetsfan1717 mentioned this a few posts back, but a even smaller group of HC kids are offered the presidential scholarship. I recall there being many other merit scholarships being offered to Rutgers students, regardless of honors or not.

got into rutgers honors college for SAS, SEBS, and Engineering!!

@MrElonMusk Yeah I definitely never expected the presidential scholarship. It’s just that now that I am not in that top 500 for the honors college I’m wondering if I would even get anything at all. Thanks for the info!

did you just get the notification? @18ganesha

@stressedgirl21 there’s lots of merit scholarships out there for honors program and college students. The only exclusive one to honors college is the Presidential (that I know of). But yes there are lots of them ranging from 1000 to 16000 per year or so I think (presidential is 26000)

yes i got an email @diamondfromsl

does anyone know the average stats for rutgers honors program SAS?

@MrElonMusk thank you, I went back to the threads and I’ll read more on Rutgers site. I believe they both got program but I don’t want to ask them more questions tonight, tomorrow I will!

@jessla12 I’m assuming that the requirements for RBS are higher because it’s generally more competitive as opposed to SAS.

In the meantime, here I am, got into the RBS honors program but not the SAS honors program LOL

What is the Engineering Honors Academy and how does it compare to honors college for engineering?

@Cryptic23 It’s equivalent to the Honors Program so it’s not as hard to get into as the Honors College.

For those who didn’t get RBS HC, Jennifer Hollis of Rutgers said that some people should check again because not all those who made it were notified

How many kids get a full ride at Rutgers?

@bioscrubber - The year my S15 accepted the Presidential Scholarship, I was told 20% had accepted that year and there were 80 presidential scholars. So that means in 2015 they awarded pres. to about 400 students.

Seriously? What year was this?

The yield for the honors college must be incredibly low then. From what I’ve heard the college enrolls about 500 total.
