When will the regular admission decision be posted?

I haven’t heard anything, but I know other schools are around April 1…

Yup, if last year is any indicator, it’s “early April” or April 1st.

the ivies are all posting their decisions late afternoon/early evening on March 29 this year. wouldn’t bryn mawr follow suit?

Looks like last year the decisions were posted 3/24 …

Maybe having a leap year will make it a day earlier? haha

It says late March now, fyi.

Is it online? Or by mail?

The decision is posted online on your Virtual Bryn Mawr account.

Thanks sayumin! But the weird thing is that I can log into my account at school but not from my home computer. Is there some special software you need?

I’m pretty sure you don’t need any special software to log in. Perhaps try using a different internet browser, that may solve the problem (I remember last year that I could only log into Virtual Bryn Mawr through Safari and not my main internet browser at the time, FireFox). If that doesn’t work, try emailing admissions and see if they have a solution for you.

They still haven’t fixed the browser issue? That’s been going on for years… Sometimes I wish that the official “we only support browsers x & y” policy was implemented uniformly, so that the admissions webpage wouldn’t load on most browsers either. I bet that would get the policy changed immediately!

Hi guys,

I’m kind of panicking because I can’t log in to the portal… what’s the user ID we are supposed to use? In one of the past emails there is a number they gave us but I’m not sure if that was supposed to be the ID or the password. Help!

@Armehndi, that happened to me as well. I shot them an email later and asked for the ID to be sent. So you should contact them as soon as possible. The password is made up of the number you’ve mentioned and your date of birth, e.g. 1111111October1. Make sure that you capitalize the first letter of the month.

thanks! I emailed both my regional director and the general admissions last night… hopefully they’ll get back to me soon! I’m worried that there was missing information that I may not have known about. Do you think they would have contacted me in another way if a part of my application was missing?

armhndi-- I’m the Dad of an applicant. The Financial Aid Office contacted
us last Friday over an inconsistency in our FAFSA vs College Profile submission.
It was cleared up. Point- they are quite capable of requesting information if
they are confused or something is missing. Seems like attention to the detail
they need. Good luck

Thank you for that information bn12gg! Very reassuring. They also got back to me today with my username and password so I’m all set. Thanks everyone and good luck for the next few weeks!
