It is. Clemson wasn’t on our radar until DS was denied ED for Rice (12/15) so he missed out on the OOS Waiver.

Mail is so slow in my parts, but today I got the magic packet saying I’m TigerTown Bound! The only upsetting thing is that I was accepted into the major of “Pre-professional Health Studies” instead of what I want to major in, psychology. I’m thinking that psychology has been filled up, but could this be due to the fact that I am pre-med? Or is pre-professional health studies something else all together? I’m excited, yet so confused.

Pre-Professional Health Studies = Pre-Med

Ohhhh! Haha, I didn’t realize that was an actual major at Clemson, because it isn’t at any of the other colleges I applied to. Thanks for the clarification! I feel like a dimwit :D

cindyski… if you have the post card they sent you when you applied it will have a 9 digit # on it which will also be your CUID if accepted. I can’t swear this will work but if you want to try it, click on the accepted students tab, go to pay admissions deposit and enter the 9 digit #. If it say “Welcome your name” you probably got in. If you plan on attending if accepted try to pay the deposit…see what happens!

Received mine in Ohio on Tuesday with acceptance into the biological sciences department so im sure that if you haven’t gotten it yet you’ll receive it soon.

Thank you CollegeMom!

I went to the accepted students link and entered the CUID on the postcard and you were correct, it asked if the name info is correct and if I would like to accept and post the $200 deposit!

So excited!

I did read somewhere that the acceptance notifications were sent out alphabetically, and our last name begins with an “S” so I’m expecting something in the mail today…but now at least I know it is good news!

Go Tigers!

My D has yet to get her letter and our last name starts with “D” and we live a hour away from Clemson. I also went into the system with our CUID and it worked. Alot of her friends with all different last names have or haven’t gotten there letters this week.
We were told but a Clemson student that they go by the major that you pick not alphabetically. Who knows… Lets just hope we all get them TODAY:)

at least you know it’s good news! :)

Yes, good news confirmed by the acceptance package in the mail today!

Finally!

Congrat’s to all the new Tigers!

Cindy

Cindy,
Congratulations! I could feel your anxiety and thought it wuld be worth a try. This is how my daughter found out about her Boston College acceptance last year(and my son checked Clemson’s site last Friday to check his acceptance…it worked)
No guarantee but it helped ease the anxiety.
Again, congratulations!

Yes, my D finally got her letter today in the mail! We live an hour away it was postmarked Feb 9th but it is a YES:)
