Sail640-could be the best birthday gift you get that day! good luck

has anyone gotten mail in massachusetts/boston area yet?

decisions are out....received in MA...accepted!

Just to let you all know, my daughter received the big envelope today.

donals & sprikles: so, did you have the TAB????

Oh wow... guess they are out... I live 4-5 blocks away, so I'm waiting anxiously for the mail to come.

To those accepted: Did you have the 'tab'?

BJAG-not to sound out of the loop, but what is "tab"?

My son received the expected little envelope. He did not have the extra finaid tab.

Nervous: on agora (agora.bc.edu) several applicants posted they had an additional "financial aid awards" link (aka tab) added in the last week or so, which seems to me like a clue to being accepted, regardless of whether or not you applied for FA

notakid: do you live in MA and, if you don't mind me asking, what were your son's stats?

yes, i had the tab ....

you had the financial aid awards tab? i'm so bummed (but happy for you)

Thanks, BJAG. My daughter noticed that link when she logged into agora a few days ago. That will have to hold me over until I get home to check my mailbox.

Yes, we are in MA.
Son's stats:
SAT CR 700, M 730, W 600
SAT sub Math2 690, Am Hist 680
wgpa 3.6 (killer)
EC's mainly sports, little community service
non-Catholic

I've noticed no one ever mentions SAT subject scores, which might be important in some cases.

Good luck.
Congrats to those who got the fat envelope.
Everyone else, don't despair. All will be well.

D got her acceptance today into the Honors Program of the school of Arts and Sciences. Yes, she had the FA tab on Agora.

Great, this tab is really screwing with us...

No, not right. My D was accepted into her high school 3 days after her friends in the SAME CITY had already received their letters. Stuff happens in mail rooms. Don't give up yet.

Son had no tab, received rejection letter today.

WPMom, what state are you from?

^^ it looks like she's from MA
