Does anybody know when this is released?

Its 46,770
I am an international student and I have to send back a financial certification form which Brandeis has given me which gives all the components of the total cost for 2006-07.
Tuition = 32951
Required Fess = 1013
Room and Board = 9457
Books and Supplies = 700
Medical Insurance = 1648
Personal Expenditure = 1000
Total = 46769 = 46770

As you can see, there is nothing 'international' here, which only foreign students have to pay. So I think if I'm paying 46770, you pay the same.

the cost will vary based on certain indiv factors - whether you are in double or triple room (you won't know that until you get your housing assignment over the summer); which meal plan you choose; whether you opt out their insurance coverage or not (you have to have other coverage to do so - you'll get info about this). go to this site and figure out what your cost is likely to be:
http://www.brandeis.edu/offices/sfs/finaid/costs.html

It's interesting because the two don't match up. it's 45,585 from the website...but according to the previous post it's 46,770.

Also, how are we suppose to pay for the personal expenditures, books, and such? That can't be included in the cost, right?

personal expenditures are personal expenditures - they can estimate what they think you will spend, but they can't say for sure.
same with textbooks and supplies - those are included in the earlier posting, but you don't pay those directly to brandeis - the amount depends on what you end up buying based on your courses and where you buy your books (new or used) and what supplies you decide you need.
the website also doesn't include a computer if you CHOOSE to buy one.

you have to stop and think about the difference between what brandeis will bill you for and what the total cost will be including what you will have to spend out of pocket for things like books. computer, personal expenditures.

compare the previous post line for line with what is listed at the website and you will see these differences.

$46,770 includes $700 for books and supplies (an estimate); $1,648 for medical insurance (which you do not have to get if you are covered by your parents' plan); and $1,000 for personal expenses like travel, entertainment, munchies etc (also an estimate).

How do you pay for this stuff? Good old all-American cash or credit card.
