when you are stuck on two answers for CR, what do you do?

CR Passage questions.

what is your approach when you are stuck on two answers?

Well... I just recently discussed this advice with a friend: If average Joe, often "dumb" could understand and pick that choice, it's probably wrong. But that advice is probably extremely flawed lol.

I eliminate the wrong one.

The Joe Blogg technique is terrible imho for those who want about 750+.

If there are two answers I'm unsure of, I:

a) almost never change my original choice if I made one
b) find the CONCRETE evidence in the passage that supports one over the other. You should be able to point to it. If you can't, then you're guessing.

But basically what Ashraf said ^^

All the answers are in the passage...so look in the passage to help you.

But then time gets in the way, cause you spend too much time trying to prove it.

You need to go with your first instinct. I will more likely be right than the other answer. But if you are truely lost, just look back into the passage for help, it is all in there believe it or not.
