When you review, do you actually time or yourself or no

I review with the Blue Book and Princeton Review 11 Practice Tests. But I don't time myself. I just do the problems regardless of whether I finish it quickly or in a long time. Should I really time myself because I don't feel like timing myself :X

I lopped off 5 minutes from each test. The SAT stuff isn’t particularly hard in the general sense – just in that you have to be fast. Giving yourself unlimited time is defeating the whole purpose of preparation.

The Xiggi method does recommend doing untimed sections when you first start studying, but after that you should definitely start timing yourself. Being able to get the right answer won’t do you any good if you can’t get it in the alloted time.

i did 3 untimed tests, and then started keeping time.

yeah, after a while timing yourself becomes mechanical… you know you’re going to finish 3-4 minutes earlier, but you time yourself just to make sure.
