Where all have you been accepted?

That’s too bad man, I feel for you…
Good luck in India, hope you make it to the best :)

I am sure you will get into a great Indian college. All the best

@denhigs
How many colleges did you apply to?

@hezekiel Too many! 16 in the States, 5 in the UK, 3 in Singapore and 1 in Hong Kong!

Accepted to USC! the last and final decision from USA for fall 2014!

USC is pretty awesome. Congrats!

And I got into NYU. Time to decide :)

@suryaslash NYU is great! All the best, man! What’s your major, by the way?

@denhigs
NUS,NTU and Yale NUS in Singapore?
HKU in Hongkong?
Congrats for the USC acceptance. :)

@suryaslash
Congrats for the NYU acceptance.

@hezekiel You got that right! I got a conditional offer from HKU, but of no use. “Get greater than 90% in Mathematics and Physics and a minimum of 85% in the other 3 electives in boards” 90% in Physics is quite a deal breaker!

And my boards went so bad…I would be happy with a nine in the tens digit! So NTU and NUS are gone too!

Everyone I know seemed to have screwed up the boards this year.
So, where are you planning to attend?

@hezekiel I think its the waiting game again. If waitlist from UIUC, or Harvey Mudd or UMich turns up, then I will attend it. Meanwhile will pay up the deposit at USC and try to negotiate the offer from HKU. And also, study for JEE Advanced and BITS to get a spot here! :(

Boards were terrible this year, for me as well. Fortunately I don’t have any conditional acceptances.

@denhigs When will the waitlist results come out? June, right? :o
You do realize that Indian colleges start around that time, right?

Indian colleges start in June? JEE Advanced is on 25th May and the results won’t be out till late June. After that they have 3 counselling rounds, so it is safe to assume that the college starts sometime in mid - august!

And yeah, waitlists are offered on a rolling basis, (I think)

Got rejected by all the colleges I applied to, except for UChicago and WashU where I got waitlisted. Couldn’t apply to any safeties because I needed full aid and wanted an academically rigorous program.

Now JEE Main Preparation going on in full swing. Nothing can break me :)

@denhigs Ah, right. This year there are changes, sorry for the confusion.
@dreamyindian That’s the spirit, man. Good luck.

Bowdoin, Wesleyan, Kenyon, Colby, Bates, Boston University

Could you guys list FA (if any) from the colleges you were accepted to?
Thanks
