<p>I only see the optional Duke essay about describing our perspective/experiences/sexual orientation. Where is everyone else finding an essay about "Why Duke"?</p>
<p>It depends on which college you’re applying to, but when I applied to Trinity this fall as ED, the following question was mandatory.
“If you are applying to the Trinity College of Arts and Sciences as a first year applicant, please discuss why you consider Duke a good match for you. Is there something particular about Duke that attracts you? (Please limit your response to no more than 150 words.)”</p>
<p>I realized you have to select a school in order for the essay question to show up. Thank you!</p>
