Everything on East appears to be closed (which is a bit ridiculous).

Duke University Dining Services:

Click on button that says:

Fall Break Where & When to Eat

CLEARLY - the answer is the WaDu :-D

Obviously one is supposed to eat the other students! Only the strong survive!

Or I guess you could go off campus. I always found it frustrating that everywhere to eat on campus shut down over breaks so that if you were stuck there over break there was no way to get food except to go off campus. But it could be worse! The college I am staying at while abroad in Australia actually rents your room to you during breaks. (or to someone else if you choose to leave for the break) So at least Duke doesn't make people pack up and leave for every break, neh?

SirGecko brings up a good point - the answer to the question of where to eat is.... In Durham!

Since you are on the East campus it is an easy walk to 9th street and Brightleaf Square.

Also, there is Whole Foods. You can always take a look at their prepared food items.

Cereal. pretty much.

Use the food points haha

The other good part about going off campus to eat while the breaks are on (besides the fact that its the only way you can eat) is that the food is pretty good at most of the places nearby. (I love Bali Hai! tasty)
