is there a reason that the Penn board has more Chinese people than all the other college forums? :D I know MIT has a whooping 28% Asians, but most of them are probably to technological occupied to participate in the "you're asian, I'm asian, let's hug" sentiment...

you can figure it out. yeah, i was wondering why i sounded so ticked off

Penn's the only board that has a Chinese thread - this is neat. Maybe we should talk about a topic that pertains to Chinese people...?

Chinese students- generally hardworking students getting extremely high SAT scores and gpa's lol

purrli - Ahh, that was why you sounded ticked off. Do you speak Mandarin or another dialect?

hm one chinese here that isn't from 中國..
yea the 中國 scholars in my country are really quite brilliant and hardworking. Well, most of them are.

Yup I speak Mandarin, as well as dialects of Shangdong 山东 and Jiangsu 江苏; I used to know the Nanjing and Singapore dialects/accents as well but I've forgotten it by now.

请问这里有多少能读中文的人?? :)

purrli, I can. But the chinese characters input is not working on my computer. I can speak shanghai-ese and dialects surrounding that region. I can still speak in singapore accent if needed
