Where are the MPA, MPP, Political Science people?

I will be starting my undergraduate studies this fall, but I'm looking to go this way. Specifically, SAIS, SIPA, Pton, and SFS. Any advice on how best to prepare myself through undergraduate work? I'm going to major in PolySci and Econ and minor in Chinese and I'm already fleunt in German. It bites though that my college is in the middle of nowhere and doesn't have much for internships during the school year, but I already have things lined up for the summer in D.C.

SAIS, SIPA, Pton, and SFS all heavily weight substantive work experience. We're talking around 2-3 years for all but Pton, whose median seems to be around 5.

Keep your GPA above 3.7, score in the 90th percentile or higher on each section of the GRE, and get around 2 years of work experience in.
