Where are transfers housed?

I want to transfer to TCNJ, but one of my main concerns is where I am going to live. Do they put transfers with freshman in a dorm? Or are there separate dorms for transfers/upperclassmen and freshman?

Also, when is the earliest time I can apply if I am a transfer?

Well if you are a transfer you are coming in as an upperclassman. That means that you can get housed in any of the residence halls but wolfe, travers, and cromwell (which are primarily freshmen floors).

Yeah transfers used to be housed on the 6th floor of Cromwell too (they were there last year) but I heard they weren’t this year.

so is there only one floor of housing for transfers?? i will be a transfer in the fall and am thinking about housing

I doubt that transfers will be housed in Cromwell again in the near future, since there are way too many freshmen taking up space there. I looked at this website: The College of New Jersey | Residential Education and Housing; but from what I’ve heard about housing you may be better off planning on living off campus or commuting, especially since you don’t live that far away compared to others.
