TOEFL isn’t the most crucial factor of MIT admission, I think. I took the TOEFL twice, and just got an achievement of 104, but I still felt good at my scores. After all, scores ain’t everything. Extracurricular activities, leadership,… there are still many other purposes to pursue. As my interviewer told me after the interview, “MIT needs the persons who can lead the crowd around, not just read the books the whole day” (maybe mistaken in some words, since I can’t remember exactly what he said).

Btw, I’m from VN. It’ll be so nice if we can meet each other this fall, in MIT :)

@baolong26_12: Leadership? Well that’s reasonable, but I don’t believe that’s really what MIT wants (not need :D). It sounds like Harvard or any other Ivy, not MIT. Strong leadership is just a kind of talent, I think :)

From Mars
Also applying to our MIT. I mean Mars Institute of Technology.
I am not sure if there are some alien students at MIT, I hope not.
Hook: Alien from Mars :)
