Where can I possibly go?

So, I am finishing up 10th grade in the next few days, and I'm already thinking about next year and beyond, like most of us on cc. My grades in 9th grade were unsatisfactory, I believe my GPA was 3.5ish for the year. My final grades for 10th grade are as follows:

Honors Pre-Calculus- 100%
World History- 95%
Honors Statistics- 97% <- college class with college credit
Personal finance- 87% <- semester class
Child Care- 98% <- semester class
Spanish 2- 94%
College Preparatory English 10- 90%
Accelerated Chemistry+lab- 97%

My activities include our school's gifted program with multiple math/science competitions yearly, and I plan to play golf for 11th and 12th grade.

My schedule for 11th grade is as follows:

College Preparatory English 11
AP Calculus AB
Honors Physics
APUSH
Spanish 3
AP Chemistry+lab
Organic Chemistry

This year, I took both the PSAT and SAT, my PSAT score is 190, and my sat score is 1840. I am interested in what I should be expecting to bring my SAT up to in the next 2 years. I would also appreciate any advice on whether or not my schedule looks appropriate. What type of colleges should I get interested in?

Is that GPA weighted or unweighted? Actually it’d be better if you calculated your “College GPA” by using the scale on the college board site, <a href=“How to Convert (Calculate) Your GPA to a 4.0 Scale – BigFuture”>College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools, (Points / # of Core Courses)

After you figure out your real GPA then we can help you. As for what schools you should be interested in… research. Find a really good school that fits your needs. What matters to you most? Prestige? Cost of Tuition?

That GPA is unweighted, because our school doesn’t give above a 4.0 until 11th grade. As for this year, I’d have well above a 4.0 but I don’t get extra credit for those honors classes, my GPA is likely around 3.87

I am torn at this point between Math major, Premed studies, or double engineering major: I can see myself as a mathematician, surgeon, or engineer. I want to go to a world renowned school for my major, that will help me get hired or into graduate school.

You have to do some investigation yourself. Since you are just in 10th you have plenty of time. Look at some college guidebooks to learn about different types of colleges, make a list later after you self educate. Look at what your state offers. Talk to your parents about what funds are available so you can pick colleges you can afford. You do not need to go to a world renown college to get into a good graduate school or medical school. That is a big misconception. Since you have several directions you are interested in look for colleges where you can spend a little time exploring. Math is offered in the college of arts and science, where premed classes are offered too. Easy to spend some time taking classes while you decide a major. Often engineering is a separate college with separate admissions and you start that program for freshman year, so that is something to figure out early on. What is “double engineering major?”

Double engineering major is majoring in let’s say nuclear and mechanical engineering, instead of only 1.
