I am going to be taking an Intermediate Algebra level class next semester for the first time in college; I know that I never was that perfect in math in High School I want to prepare first for at least a month so I get better scores from the start.

Where can I prepare for classes ahead of time?

Go online to math sites (just search) and refresh your memory of Algebra and Algebra II. Khan Academy is good for general lessons.

Check to see if the syllabi are online. If you have the textbook already, you can start working through the first couple of chapters of the book. In Texas, syllabi and CV are required to be uploaded online. Also, brush up on things covered /before/ Int. Alg, especially if you have had time off since HS. One of the hardest things is students understanding the concepts being covered now but falling behind becaue they’re missing concepts covered in an earlier sequence.
