Where can we apply for scholarships? I am about to be a senior this year and I’ve been looking more in depth about which colleges and universities that best fits my interest.
Please try to make a relevant title to your posts in future.

Are you looking first for colleges that will offer you merit aid? What are your stats?
I’m sorry about the title, I’m just really new here so I’ll learn more on how to work this. and yes ma’am.
I am an AP honor student, member of National Honor Society, animal club also known as FAWNA, top 10% of my class rank, sat scores 1450. In my AP tests I’ve gotten a 2 for Eng 3, 1 for both U.S History and World History.
It’s okay, just mentioning for future reference, better titles help people to click and reply when they know something.
Looking for schools that give you aid is better than looking for outside scholarships. What state, what gpa what SAT M+CR or ACT? How much will your parents pay…etc?
I’m from San Antonio, Texas. @BrownParent
The best scholarships come directly from the colleges to which you get accepted. So, make sure your college list includes schools where you would be eligible for scholarships.
Is that 1450/2400?
What is AP English 3?
Your AP scores and SAT scores are too low so you likely won’t get scholarships for that. I would re-take the SAT/ACT because you can get scholarships for good scores. What is your UW and Weighted GPA?
@Madison sometimes AP English Language is referred to in a AP English 3 at my kids school because it’s the third English class taken in high school and AP English Lit is referred to as AP English 4.
I wouldn’t bother mentioning those AP scores on college apps, don’t you have to have at least a 3 to get credit for them?
^^Thanks!
Anything below a 3 on an AP exam is failing.
What is the breakdown of your SAT? If your SAT is for all 3 sections, then your choices will be very limited.
what exactly is your rank within 10%
how much can your family pay towards college?
Texas A&M will likely be one of your best choices because of your rank. If your rank is 7% or less, then UT-Austin as well.
