Where could I apply?

Ok, I'm an international student from Finland, trying to figure out where to apply. I haven't done my SAT's yet, but after trying it few times with the SAT prep books at work, I got around 450-550 from each section. I'm trying to improve all of them at least up to 600, hopefully even higher (Don't know about SAT II's tho). I just haven't had time to actually study properly yet... So when I do, it shouldn't be too hard to improve em after like 2 months of studying.

One problem is that my country does not give honors and awards the way U.S. or other countries do, so that kinda puts me in a bad light when applying for some schools... I've done many courses in high school tho; Including Finnish, English, Swedish, German, French, Spanish, Math, Biology, Geography, Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, Philosophy, Art, PE, IT, Religion, Music, History, Social studies and so on...

I'm aiming for the Architecture program and my GPA is around 3.2, which is kinda bad but... Blah :/

I got 2 years of working experience during summers as a CSR, but I guess that doesn't really matter when applying for architecture, does it? :P And... I've done volunteering for WWF for the past 7 years.

I guess that's all the info I can give right now, thank you all in advance.

You could probably get in at a lot of schools assuming you do reach your goal of around 600 on each section of the SAT, not the elite schools but a solid state school is well with-in your reach. Something like the University of Iowa would probably admit you no problem... If you have a particular area of the country in mind, I could give you a few suggestions.

Do you think I have any chances in the University of Texas - Austin? I am really going to study a lot once I'm done with my A-levels which are in one month (after that I got time till November and December to study) and see how everything goes...

//EDIT: And... Well, I would prefer the southern, warm areas... Just kinda sick of the weather in where I live atm, I want some change -_-

Austin is a possibility, worth applying for sure.

In that area of the country, Texas Tech is a decent school that you should be able to get into without much trouble, plus it does have architecture.
