Where do I stand??

Hello,
I’m currently beginning the college application process, however I’m not that sure how I compare to all the other high school seniors out there. I want to major in science (probably engineering, but I’m not limiting myself to that) and I want some kind of music minor, preferably performance related. Could some of you give me recommendations of schools that would be mid-level, to slight reaches for me?

Here is most of the info I’ll be submitting in my apps:

The University of Rochester matches your interests in science and music, has engineering, and generally seems academically appropriate for you. However, you didn’t say how far you are interested in traveling.

I’m willing to attend school anywhere, as long as it is within the U.S.

How much can your family afford?

My parents tell me that money will not be an object.
