Im serious, I guess after witnessing such eliteness and seeing everyone apply and wanting to go to an ivy or just a top 50 school, Ive always wanted to know what kids look like who go somewhere like Temple University or like Boise State University or like University of Wyoming and just these random places. I mean there at thousands attending those places, so its something I wanted to bring up.

State schools as they are larger with higher acceptance rates.

Also keep in mind that even if people are accepted to ivy leagues, they don't always choose to go.

My school is filled with people like the ones that you are mentioning, but frankly most of them go to Univ. of MD. It just seems like everyone is going to harvard because that's what you remember.

I come from a public high school in rural Michigan. My high school counselor, a tenured deadbeat who I can't rely on at all, has been at my school for 20 years, and has never seen a kid gain admission to an Ivy League college. A few students from each class will go to U of M, and maybe Northwestern, but that's about it. I know a lot of those 'normal people' to whom you refer. In fact, I know only 'normal people'.
Normal people go to state and community colleges, or do career-based education, or just sit around all day scratching themselves. I feel pretty alone in the presence of all these people. I wish I knew some abnormal people that fill your school, but there are none at mine. Normal people can be, often are, successful. They don't study for the SAT of ACT, they don't push and shove to distinguish themselves, they aren't into this crazy and exhausting game of college admissions.
