<p>I have no idea where to put national honor society on my app.</p>
<p>i was gonna put it in extracurriculars but then they ask you the approximate amount of time...</p>
<p>problem is with honor society we do events sometimes mostly and hence theres no set amount of hours a week or weeks a year...so yea frustrating...</p>
<p>or do i put it in additional information?
commonapp said use additional info if you have out of space for extracurriculars...(which i did not) </p>

<p>I would say not to put it if you have other important ECs on there, because NHS has been known to be very corrupt and such with a lot of schools. If there is no set hours/week, then just see how many you will do in a year and estimate from there.</p>
<p>be sure to list it under “Academic Honors/Distinctions”, at the very least.</p>
<p>I wouldn’t add it if you have other more important ECs on there with hours and commitment. They want to see the activities you put the most time in and although you said you were involved in it I wouldn’t put it down. They’ll be able to see that you were in the NHS.</p>
