Where do you go to buy college gear and logo stuff on campus?

I go to Michigan, and all of the retail stores are really conveniently on campus. Half of the stores are on the same street corner! Moe's, Michigan Book & Supply, and All About Blue are ridiculously close to one another.

At other schools, besides the college bookstores, where do people normally go to buy logo t-shirts, keychains, and other stuff? I'm curious and interested in other campuses.

Unfortunately, I live in a small town with a community college, so the only place is bookstore.

Alot of places at the mall sell school gear. I can’t think of any of their names, but we have 3 malls, and all of them have stores which sell college gear. Otherwise places like Sheel’s or Dick’s (I think) sell local college stuff.

My local Target has an aisle labelled “school spirit” with sweatshirts, fingers, etc for the big schools here.

It probably won’t be on or particularly near campus, but you can already try it.

Check the local malls…I know the ones in SC had some actual stores as well as a TON of kiosk-type deals so it shouldn’t be to hard to find.

We have a lot of Badger gear stores near campus…there’s at least three, all on one street. Plus the bookstore.

Also I think most Targets around here and even Walgreens have stuff as well. But we’re a big school-spirit kind of place and there are no other big schools around here so there might be more stuff available than in other places.

You’ll probably get lots of freebies at school, like T-shirts and other random things. I came home with a lot of shirts, bags, and other stuff in just 1 year.

University book store, or large chain stores near campus.

I think only large state schools have random stores around town that sell their school gear, other than just going to the bookstore on campus. So far for mine, I’ve just found it at our bookstore. For big state schools though, I’ve seen it at malls- I live in MN and have seen U of MN stuff sold all over at malls.

I just get stuff at the bookstore.

Either at the school bookstore or the mall. Walmart and Target also have some stuff.

I see Ohio State stuff all over Walmart and Target? No love for Miami.

In my home town, there’s a store in the mall which carries some Chico State apparel around Christmas time. Other than that, I’ve really only seen it at the bookstore. I did see sweatshirts at Walmart that said “Chico” on the front, but I didn’t see any Chico State ones.

My future college just opened a store downtown with college apparel. Again, I’m not sure where else to find it other than the bookstore.

Our official bookstore because the money goes to supporting student scholarships (and the prices are about the same as the many knockoff bookstores near campus). Besides that, I get a ton of my stuff from TJ Maxx/Marshall’s. They have TONS of my school’s gear and it’s normally really inexpensive and cute stuff!

Usually ,a local Wal-mart will carry college sweatshirts , key rings , etc. for any schools nearby . I have seen this at at least 10 Wal-marts !

On-line retailers have lots of gear as well.

The University of Pittsburgh has a sidewalk store for Pitt gear, which is something I have not seen other places.

It depends. If you go to a public university, your chances of finding things at a local Walmart, Kmart, etc. are pretty good. If you go to a private college, you might end up being restricted to only purchasing items at the college store.

I live in South Carolina and USC just won the College World Series, so I see stuff everywhere. Like literally. I was at Bi-Lo the other day and they had Back2Back t-shirts.

Anyways, if it’s a big university, I’d assume you could find stuff in Wal-Mart or Target… I mean, I see Clemson and USC stuff everywhere, because those are the two big state schools here.
