Where do you plan to live AFTER college?

I’d rather work in Denver or Seattle (or Florida, where I’ll probably end up), but I wouldn’t exactly be disappointed to live and work in Phoenix.

A] Dallas
B] Rice
C] Houston

A] Chicago
B] Texas (+ Australia)
C] no F’ing idea.

a) Asia
b) chicago/boston
c) around the world

A] Oregon
B] Emory
C] A suburb (hopefully lol) of Washington DC (where I grew up :))

A] Baltimore, MD
B] Cleveland, OH
C] Vet school is the plan- hopefully in Edinburgh, Scotland. Will then probably work over there for a bit to earn in pounds and pay off loans :-D

LOLZ!

Everyone is thinking they will be able to afford SoCal/LA after college! You people are absolutely F-ing ridiculous. Unless you land some sort of high paying job, there’s no chance. The whole state is barely affordable, and employment prospects are dismal.

I’ll be the only honest one about where I’m living.

In my parents house!

Or possibly under the 5 Freeway. That’s affordable housing located in California.

Be sure to stop by and fill up my hobo cup w/ money.

K THNX GOOD BYE!

A] Long Island… (like the majority of this thread, apparently)
B] I have no idea. I’m only a high school junior, but it would most likely be NYC, DC, or New Orleans.
C] Manhattan’s the dream. Maybe I can rake in enough dough to find myself a cheap studio apartment.

A] Maryland
B] Manhattan
C] Manhattan
Not a big jump for me.

A) WV
B) VA
C) Somewhere on the eastern side of the mississippi, not in WV. Probably not in the Northeast either, but I’m pretty flexible.

True.

a) ca
b) ca
c) portland, or/ northern CA/ north carolina/ alot of places, im pretty flexible and I want to travel around for a while

A) Southeastern PA
B) NYU
C) NYC

I live in Michigan, high school junior. After college I plan to stay in a large city where I can attend medical school. A few cities that come to mind:
New York
Seattle
Los Angeles
San Fransico
Chicago
Minneapolis
San Diego
Boston
(All the cities I can think of now)

I can see living with your parents right after college for a year, but at 25? That’s pushing it.

Are you paying attention to the news? The housing prices right now are plummeting because everyone is getting foreclosed on. CA is getting cheaper, especially away from the coast.

I’m Currently Living in Georgia [Sub-urban]

I’m A High School Junior, Planning to Attend College in a Rural/Sub-Urban Community

By My 25th Birthday, I’m Not Sure Where I Want To Be…But I Have An Open Mind…

A] Atlanta
B] UGA
C] a condo in Atlanta

@ ComradeD

I’m not saying California is cheap, but it is definitely attainable. I expect to be making anywhere from 70-100k when im 25. And that’s if i dont decide to start my own business.
And there’s a reason why Cali is is more costly than other areas. For anyone who’s been to SoCal, you can understand. You get what you pay for.

There are plenty of fresh-out-of college people living in the LA/San Diego area. It’s not uncommon at all.

My cousin just graduated from harvard and now she’s living with us and i hate her!!!

There are no jobs for her to get a job!
apartements are too expensive for her to pay!
above all, EVERYTHING ELSE is so expensive that she has to keep borrowing money from ME, her younger cousin so that she can keep buying the stuff she likes!

Unless you plan ti get like, three other roomates like all the other ppl in the state (or at least here in SF), don’t waste the little money that you have! just my opinion.
