I have applied to:

*University of Maryland at College Park

*Tulane university
*Miami university- Oxford
University of Miami- coral gables
University of Wisconsin- Madison

I have a 3.6 w/3.33 uw and a 30 ACT.
Illinois resident.
Debate with leadership position, DECA state qualifier, political internship, retail job, track 4 years, anti-drug/alcohol club member, academic tutor with board position and junior optimist international club with board position.

3 APs and several honors.
Really good essays and recommendations.

Does anyone have suggestions for where else I should possibly apply RD? Or my REAL chances for getting in to those above?
* indicates top choice

I think you have a very very good chance of acceptance to Miami OH. Not sure on others cause I’m not familiar with them. Indiana is a great school, I know it is not on your ‘starred’ list, but I’ve known several kids who attended–all very different sorts of kids with varied interests–and all found their bliss.

I bet you’ll have lots of choices. Good luck!

3.33 unweighted puts you in major disadvantage. Have you consider some JC to improve your grade and your chance of getting into some top schools? BTW, with this economy, it is actually very wise financially to attend JCs.
