Where for BIOCHEMISTRY?

I am currently a senior in high school with a 30 act and a 3.9 gpa. I want to major in biochemistry but I am confused on where to go and where I'll get in. I have some in mind right now (UW-Mad, UofIllinois, UChicago, UCBerkeley,...) I live in Illinois. Any other colleges come to mind. How do my current choices stack up?? thanks!!

in addition to your stats, a lot depends on finances and personal preferences (urban/rural, region, size, etc). Find schools that are a good fit overall and come up with a list of reach, match, and safety schools. There are many threads regarding this on this forum.

Some possibilities to check out for biochem:
Michigan, Michigan State, WUStL, Brandeis, Minnesota, Rochester, Case Western.

UW and UCB are at the top for biochem. Step above the others.

Also, Pittsburgh and Washington. Best of luck!

Thanks, does anyone have an opinion on northeastern, beloit, northwestern, or nyu?
