Jrock, I grew up speaking three languages. Two africans (Gun and Fon), and French. Where's Harare? Are you coming to the US soon?</p>

<p>berthran, i grew up in southwestern nigeria speaking english and yoruba[native lang.] i guess yoruba is also spoken in some parts of Benin? ...moved to zimbabwe [harare is the capital] in august, hoping to study in the US next year...can speak french fairly well [taking sat2 french next week], and also learning german.....wow!!you learned english perfectly under 11mths, cool.</p>

<p>Hi Jrock. Glad to know some body from near my country. I visited Lagos and Abudja. Very nice. I lived in Porto-Novo where at least 45% speak Yoruba. It just so happened that I don't speak it. Sorry. But I know some expressions like: Ekaro (good morning) or Olohoun (God).
