Where is my Access Code?

<p>i will enter duke this fall as an international student.
In a recent contact, a school official asked me to give her my access code, which i have no idea where to find..</p>

<p>where can i get my 7-digit access code (i'm an international)?
i followed the tip on the website and found a series of numbers on the top center of my reply form, but it is 8-digit..i cannot find any numbers in the third paragraph of my application confirmation, deposit confirmation(internationals do not need to pay this!), or in other places mentioned.
can anyone help me out?
i should call the office but before that i want to figure out what the 8-digit code is..

i feel terribly stupid</p>

<p>did you have a number you used when logging in to see your admissions decision? it’s a number you received after submitting the common app and you had to enter into admissions.duke.edu to check your application status/decision. that number is your access code and it will also become your ID number at duke for the next 4 yrs.</p>

<p>This gives you your UNIQUE id (which is NOT the same as your Duke ID Number), but if you were to give the person you were talking to your unique ID, s/he might be able to tell you your student ID.</p>

<p>EDIT: …though it seems you need to enter your SSN. Do you have a Social Security Number?</p>

<p>Unique IDs will usually work in most cases at Duke anyway. In fact, I’ve never really had to bust out my student ID for anything since I’ve come to Duke except for ACES. Unique ID on the other hand is used by pretty much every department</p>
