Skiing when the snow is soft (and ideally groomed), where I can’t even hear my skis.

My two: the dunes at South Beach on Martha’s Vineyard and this waterfront spot at Mount Desert Campground at Acadia NP. Been going to both almost yearly for +/- 30 years.

Not that I’m a good golfer but I cherish the friends I am there with and the beautiful surrounding.

:notes: Doo, doo, doo, lookin’ out my back door

I sit here each morning at our dining table drinking coffee, playing on my iPad (part of which is checking CC), and looking at this view.

Any of the bluffs in eastern Iowa overlooking the Mississippi River. Double points if it is in southeastern Iowa.

Back in my happy place all weekend. The local meteorologists said this is the best Memorial Day weekend forecast in Maine they can remember. :slightly_smiling_face:

High places with a view, like mountain tops, skyscrapers or a window seat on a long haul flight.

Found a new happy place this weekend at Lake Powell.

At home - my screened porch with the ceiling fan on looking out at my pots of colorful flowers (which is where I am now)

Away - anywhere outdoors sunny and warm preferably with a view of the ocean while sitting in a comfortable chair with a good book or riding my bike

My husband jokes that I have mermaid genes. Need to be able to see big water often to be happy.

On my couch, after the dog stops welcoming me home and demanding to know where I was all day (IE, barking at me…). Phone in front of my face, movie on in the background, peripherally visible to my right.

Or:

Same, but with a football game on – something I’m interested in watching. Then I ditch the phone.

Or… and wishing I did this more often:

Snorkeling off a deserted Culebra beach, gallon of sunblock applied and plenty more at the ready. I float there and watch the fish, rays, and turtles – my own aquarium. That’s my favorite thing to do that requires exercise. hehe

Most times when I’m with H and even better if the kids are with us and we are all just chilling and relaxing.

I love national parks but anywhere people I love are is fine.

I love an ocean beach. Even better in the Caribbean.
