Where should I apply/hope for?

I'm currently an undergraduate (sophomore/rising junior) at Columbia University. I am a URM (hispanic-- specifically, Cuban) double majoring in anthropology and political science.

I currently have a 3.8 GPA; I plan on graduating with a similar if not slightly higher GPA. I also plan on graduating with 216 credits (we need 124 for the degree) because I take an average of 25 credits per semester plus AP Credits. I still haven't taken the LSAT but I anticipate getting around a 170. I also plan on writing theses in both of my majors.

Upon graduation, I will be fluent or nearly fluent in 10 languages (English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, German, Hindi, Urdu, Indonesian, and Malay-- currently, I have been certified at the highest levels of language by the French and Brazilian governments and am a native speaker of both English and Spanish.) I also plan on doing Peace Corps after graduation and will have taught SAT Writing in China and interned at a public health NGO dealing with HIV/AIDS prevention in Mauritius by the end of this summer. I anticipate doing NGO work in India or Indonesia next summer.

My goal is to enter Harvard's dual degree program in Law at HLS and Public Policy at HKS with the intention of working in the public sector (ideally at UNESCO.) Do I have a shot? If not, where should I apply/hope for? Thanks!

Without a real LSAT, no one knows. Everyone thinks they can score 170, few do. I don’t know what you’re basing that off of.

True. I guess it’s a bit presumptuous. I’m just basing it off of my past standardized test performance, but I guess one never knows.

Your GPA is ok and that is a positive! It is better to be ok then lacking.

Take the LSAT then you will know. The LSAT is self selecting like no test you have taken before (unless you have already taken the MCAT) You are not competing with the standard dolts in your everyday classes, you are competing with the top 4% of students at a given college. The median LSAT is 150.

If you dont do as well as you like take a year and study. No amount of letters from Obama, certifications for language, or anything other than huge donations from your parents will make a difference like an improved LSAT.
