I am looking for engineering and/or business

I am not sure what schools would be a safety, match, reach... Here are some colleges I was thinking of, and tell me which ones you think I can get into, and any colleges I should add to list as safety or matches. Also is economics like business, alot of college shave an economics program but no business.

Anyways, heres the colleges I am thinking of right now, and I have already applied ED to NYU Sterns.

Colgate
Amherst
boston u
cornell (engineering)
duke
emory
georgetown
upenn ( engineering[wharton is beyond my reach right?])
middlebury
notre dame
rice

Thanks alot to anybody who can help me! I dont know where I stand, and I dont want to apply to like all these schools, and get rejected by all of them or something.

I think your getting into Stern ED. You might want to try UCBerkeley, dont they have both great business and engineering? Carnegie Mellon too?

dude, you are crazy smart! i think you should apply to ALL those smart schools because i'm sure you'd get in...lol

ehh not really, plenty of people with 1600's and my writing score is bad, plus i go to a bad public school. isnt UCBerkley like impossible to get into if your not from California? I dunno anything about Carnegie Mellon, is it good?

lol you should see my scores then...lol anyways i'm not sure that UC berkeley is "impossible" to get in if you're not a california resident, but even for a california resident, it's extremely hard to get in. i wouldn't wanna go there because it's crazy competitive and i'd get killed in there and...i'm sure that i won't get into it...so yea..lol

90% are instate for berkeley.

although UCB only has like a 4 percent or something like that out of state student body, I think it's as competitive if you were in state. i don't think many apply to berkeley who are out of state because they think they won't have a chance so they prefer University of Michigan, but I'm pretty sure the acceptance rate for Out of Staters at Berkeley is similar to in states. With 1520 you definetly qualify for admissions in to the UC's.

But either way with your stats and the schools your applying to, some of them are bound to accept you, and are much better than attending Berk since out of state tuition is as high as private school tuition.

University of Michigan is a safety/match. That's another option.

isnt michigan that school with the huge affirmative action scandal, giving 20 points to being black, and 12 for a 1600? lol

just wondering, but why are you applying to Stern NYU and then considering engineering for cornell and penn?

i like engineering and business

i cant get into wharton, and cornell doesnt have business.

bump it up

... hellooooooooooooo
