Where Should I Apply?

Hello,

I'm a highschool senior currently in the process of completing some college applications. I've been researching college a lot lately but I am still a bit unclear as to where I should apply. I have a list of about 16 schools that I'd like to whittle down to about 8-10. I would like to major in chemical engineering or biomedical engineering - I think I will just go engineering undeclared for now. I will put my stats/extra curriculars up and if anyone could help me narrow down my schools or add some programs to the list, that would be great. I would also like to say that I will be needing some major financial aid since I have one widowed, unemployed parent supporting 2 kids with social security benefits.

Broad Overview
SAT I(one sitting, not superscored): 680 R, 670M, 670W : 2020 total
SAT II: Math II 680, US Hist - Awaiting scores
GPA: ~3.8 UW, Weighted ?, 96 UW
