Hello! I’m another stressed senior who is split over EDing to two different places. I really want to attend Columbia but all my friends and teachers think I should go for Johns Hopkins. The admissions office at Johns Hopkins knows my counselor really well. I am scared of a rejection letter from Columbia but am not sure if this should deter me from EDing there. It is by far my first choice but my teachers and friends believe that JHU is a much better fit for me as a person/student. I plan to major in Biochem/Biology at Columbia College or BME at JHU if accepted into either. I really think I will probably get into JHU if I ED but think I will get rejected from Columbia if I ED.
