I'm debating if I should apply to Sewanee-University of the South, or Wabash College ED.

My Stats made easy:
2.8 (UW) GPA, Rank 52%
21 ACT, retaking in September, and after taking practice test, I was getting on average a 27. I'm studying which is the reason for the huge increase.

3 Varsity Sports, Ice Hockey, Track and Cross Country. Been very successful in all three.

FBLA. District Vice President of 18 schools and 700 members. School Reporter, organizing community service projects through it. Simply put, I'm doing a ton for FBLA, at the District level. Also won some awards.

I also have a few academic awards.

Community Service, 100hrs local food pantry, organizing a 5K run/walk to raise money for alzheimer's disease. Also promoting this http://www.remembercampaign.com/ to all 18 schools in FBLA.

Which should I apply to ED, and do I even have a shot?

OMG--I thought you were kidding on the iwannagoivy thread when you said your GPA was 2.8.

You've never seen any of my threads :p

Oh Sewanee also has an ED II, thus I would apply January 3rd. I'm thinking that if I have a strong first semester, and bring up the ACT, I think that will help a lot. Junior year I took 1 honors class. Senior year I'm taking 5 honors classes. So really I see senior year as a make or break.

*I'm also dropping ice hockey, so I can put more time and effort into focusing on school.

Is it because of the kid that ****es you off?

No, I was just thinking about it over the last view days and realized, it's more of a time concern. The fact that I'm not able to start studying until 10pm doesn't make me to happy. If I didn't have hockey everyday, I would consider doing hockey. It's just that this year, we added more practices this year, and I just simply don't have the time.

This is one of those times where the quote "School comes first" makes me think about what I'm doing.
