Alrighty. To make a long story as short as possible, I was rejected from a bunch of top notch boarding schools while I was in 8th grade (Taft, Andover, Exeter, Middlesex) and am hoping to apply again this year since I am sophomore and I need a change, but to different schools. A quick background of my experience with boarding schools: My sibling is a dominant athletic force at the Governors Academy and I know a bunch of faculty and students over there. I get mostly A's and B's this year I am taking AP European History, Honors English, Accelerated Chemistry, Accelerated Geometry/Algebra, Early Church History, and lastly Honors Latin II. I am involved in sports and society film discussion club and investment club. I am also looking to play rugby this spring. I am looking to apply to some lower end boarding schools that I would have a decent shot of being accepted to since I feel that the window of my time to be accepted into boarding school is closing. I would also love to learn my chances of being accepted into Governors due to my connection their and my sisters reputation (we are twins). What do you guys think? I am almost forgot, is repeating sophomore year a good idea.
