Where to Apply for a Technical Theatre Major?

<p>Actually, I don’t think CMU ever really offered to match FA. They were just known to do so. But I couldn’t find out what this meant until we actually got our offer so I make it a point to pass it along. </p>

<p>There are no guarantees and the process is indeed slow. My D was accepted very early but we didn’t hear about FA until we visited campus a couple of weeks before we had to make a decision. </p>

<p>But their offer to us was generous and the school is great. So I have no real complaints.</p>

<p>Three of the four Tony nominees for lighting design this year (including the winner) are Purchase grads. My son is in the Acting program but lighting design has an outstanding reputation.</p>
