A little background: I'm a high school junior, meaning in a few months, I'm gonna have to start seriously looking at which schools and scholarships to apply for. At least in my school, I'm a very strong student, with an impressive EC list... now, both of my older sisters have gotten merit-based full rides to Indiana University, so it's kind of assumed that I'll either get that scholarship or another one like it. I do think I've got a good shot at nabbing that one, but I'm sort of curious as to similar scholarships at other schools... love my sisters, but don't always want to follow their steps, hehe... I'm not, however, seriously considering Ivy's, because my family's financial status knocks away any chance I have for a financial need based scholarship, and, as far as my research has gone, they don't offer purely merit-based scholarships. At any rate:

Again, I'm just trying to figure out what kinds of schools that may be a bit more competitive than Indiana University that offer full, merit-based scholarships... I've glanced at ones like the College Honor Scholarship at University of Chicago, and the A.B. Duke and Roberston Scholarships at Duke University. I'm sure there are more out there, I just don't know about them. And, thus... posts
