so how do we figure out the ISBN number for the books we need to purchase? and where is the best place to purchase them? THANX!

UCLA Store = Most Expensive Option. :(

Textbooks Plus (Westwood Blvd & LeConte; 10 minute walk from Ackerman Student Union on-campus) = Cheaper Option. Too lazy to order cheap books from on-line? Try this place. For the fat $100+ books though, I'd go online and search for your cheapest option. Most likely cheaper than T-Plus. For the small $5-6+ books, I would go to T-Plus. The difference is usually tiny esp considering S&H.

Amazon/eBay/Half.com = Cheapest Option usually (Used Books)

Facebook Marketplace = Not as many listings but its worth a shot... especially for course readers.

wow i must be really dumb i cant figure it out from the "view source"

what is it usually after?

are you using mozilla?

IE: http://community.livejournal.com/ucla/913546.html

right click + view source

Would you recommend using campusi.com? I got a bunch of great deals there for my books, but I haven't heard of some of the providers so I'm not sure if its safe. Some of them seem to be based in India...

BUMP for** Jinobi** -- he's used it a few times.

Campusi, abebooks, fetchbook, alibris, etc. They're all similar. You have to verify very closely of what book they will give you; just message them and scrutinize the information they bounce back.

If you are not, then you might get a lower quality book. I got a black and white book from China once when the information said it was US edition.

Most of the time, they have great deals. Just pay attention from where it's from as well.
