Where to go for Biochem?

I'm a senior this year, and I'm yet to decide which colleges to apply to. I live in New York, am 17, and plan on majoring in Biochemistry or Chemical Biology. My academic 'stats' are as follows.

3.1 unweighted GPA

800 Reading SAT
760 Math SAT
730 Writing SAT
(2290 total SAT)

800 Math SATII
760 History SATII
750 Chem SATII
218 PSAT/NMSQT (National Merit sent me a letter of commendation, possible semifinalist)

5 on BC calculus AP
5 on US history AP
4 on Chemistry AP
3 on European history AP
Every academic (Math, science, english, history, foreign language) class I've taken since 9th grade has been an honors or AP class.

I don't play sports, although I did winter track one year. I have few extracurriculars.

I plan on going to graduate school and obtaining a pHd in Biochemistry or Chemical Biology. I already know what research I want to do, and I do not care about a high paying or prestigious job after college. I am also a devout atheist, and would not attend a college with any religious affiliation.

All that being said, does anyone have any suggestions of colleges? Keep in mind that my EFC will probably be around 0.

I’d apply to Stony Brook for sure, although it might be a reach.

do you care about location? size?

Not really, as long as it’s not full rural or too huge.

By the way, 3.1 means an 86, we don’t have 4 point GPA in our school.

The GPA is a little low for the standardized tests. That PSAT should get you NMSF status. Some good bio-chem include Lewis and Clark, Reed, Case Western (those are the ones I know).

It’ll be somewhat higher by the time I apply.
