I am really confused over here should I go to UIUC for Computer Science in college of engineering or UCSD in california and please tell me why

based on what I found out today, you shouldn’t go to UCSD for CS unless you are a direct admit. My personal opinion, you don’t want to be trapped in lottery-land with no place to go if you’re not lucky.
