Where to register for my classes?! PLEASE HELP

Where do i register for my classes online in the UF.edu website? When does registration open for spring term 2012?

Thanks in advance too any inputs :)

Whoa there, calm down. The spring schedule isn’t even out until friday! ([UF Registrar](Office of the University Registrar)) Are you a new student? Because if so you can’t register until after your preview date… advance registration doesn’t open until Oct. 31st and everyone is assigned a day and time which goes by priority (upperclassmen, honors students = higher priority, incoming freshman = lowest priority). When you register you’ll do so under the registration tab in ISIS. That’s also where you’ll find out what your assigned date and time is.

Oh, and if you’re a transfer student same deal… you can’t register until your preview date. They take the hold off your account then, and it’s based of UF credits so I really don’t know how they assign reg. date to transfers… my first semester as a transfer my date wasn’t that great but it was better than a lot of incoming freshmen

lol. Thanks for the great answer! ^^ What button (sarcasm) do i have to press once i’m logged in to the Isis thing. Does the button just pop out when i’m given a certain date? Or is it a specific location where I click to register once I log in into the Isis?

I’m a transfer student and yes I still need to attend preview for UF.

Thanks again :)

I tried going to the degree shopping thing but it just gives me the courses info and stuff but not like a register icon.

This UF preview thing is it on online thing? Or do i have to go to UF to attend the meeting?

Thanks sorry for the double post.

Emphasis, you can’t register until after Friday at a MINIMUM! UF Preview is where you come here and they tell you all about UF, and registering, blah, blah, blah. You’ll be sent more infor I’m sure. Call Admissions/ the department you were admitted. They would know a lot more then we do.

Lazman you should have signed up for a preview date when you got accepted, they send an email out of how to go about registering.

And if you look in ISIS at the bottom of the left hand menu there is a “Registration” tab with an orange arrow next to it. When you click the orange arrow options open, you would click “register now” then Spring… that’s where it’ll tell you what your date (There are no dates listed yet, it just says reg. closed), and that’s where you’ll register for classes.

shameless plug

GatorSchedule will be updated on Friday to include the Spring 2012 course catalog to satisfy your course-finding needs!
