OK I know this might be kind of stupid but I was wondering where you would address your recommendation letters to? The Common Application gives you the forms but it doesn't really tell you where to address the forms to. I don't really want my letters to get lost because I addressed them to the wrong department. I looked around the websites of some of the colleges I am applying to and most of them don't give addresses. Can someone help me out?

Admissions Office

Look on the schools website.

Generally it will tell you somewhere, or even on the form itself.

For example, on JHU's website on the bottom right of the page it gives the address: http://apply.jhu.edu/faqs/all.html

Example 2: on this Duke pdf at the very bottom, it lists the address: http://www.admissions.duke.edu/jump/applying/PDF/instructions2.pdf

UNC's teacher rec. form has where they want the letter sent on the form itself: http://www.admissions.unc.edu/pdf/2008_UNC_teacher_recommendation.pdf

You just have to look around the applications section.

k Thanks, I managed to find them all. It just took quite a while of digging lol.
