Where To Start for Scholarships?

My family moves every 2-3 years and so I honestly have no idea which university I want to go to or how to pay for it. My parents never saved for my college but I managed to work and get around $1,000 for classes. I'm 2 semesters away from getting a business degree but I also want to get a major in computer programming.

When I was in an Arizona high school I went to a technical institute for programming and earned a 3.9 GPA for two years but found that the credits couldn't be transferred. It was a big disappointment to me because I found something I loved to do but couldn't do anything with. I earned some major awards and then my family moved states again.

Less than two years ago my father lost his job as an engineer and so I've had no financial support but my community college's financial aid turned me down twice. I told them my father was fired, I have no support from my family, but because I'm 23 and my parents have been using their retirement in large amounts it appears they can support me.

The good news I do know of is that I'm turning 24 on Jan 24th. The bad news is that because my family is either going to lose our home or sell it that we have no idea where we are going to live or if we are going back to Oregon. I spent my last funds on a calculus class this semester and know I have to drop out of college if I can't get funding some how.

My overall GPA now with 80+ credits is about 2.9-3.1 that is a mix of core classes for computer science and business. My goal was to get a degree by now but we've simply moved too often and I've had to scrape funds together. I really don't want a loan because I watched my father pay his college loans back for 20 years.

I tried to find a few scholarships through the financial aid office but you can guess they told me to get a loan and then tried to sell me off to a bank. So, do I have to live under a bridge or out of my car to get a grant or scholarship or am I just screwed as a while female?
