Where would YOU choose? Rice vs. Notre Dame

Okay, I need some serious help...
I know I posted a similar thread a few days ago, but I narrowed my list to two:

Rice University v. University of Notre Dame

======================================
Here's ME:
Originally interested in business (which is why I applied to ND), but now doubting the idea of an undergraduate business degree. If I went to Rice, I would major in Economics with Mathematical Economic Analysis minor.
I identify myself as Asian (so a minority), and although a Christian, not sure about going to a Catholic School.
I'm an introvert (random?)

Rice is slightly more expensive (It'd end up costing about $10k more after loans)

What I think about each school:

Notre Dame
Pros: Great business program, "a safer route?" -- in terms of job prospects after school? Such a generous financial aid...
Cons: Middle of nowhere, too white??? I don't know what it'd be like being a minority here

Rice
Pros: I've been in love with the school for a while, Texas--I've wanted to explore this part of country for a while, still great academics although no business school, weather
Cons: Somewhat unsure about studying Social Sciences rather than business @ ND..
(speaking of which, how is Rice's economics program???), not so sure about job placement after college.. I know Rice is a good school, but how good are its non-engineering/science majors?

======================================

I am grateful to have such good options, but I think it will break my heart to choose one school over another..

So where would YOU choose if you were me?

I would definitely choose Rice. For starters, I too am a bit skeptical of undergrad business. The economics/mathematical economic analysis major seems better to me. Although I have no direct experience with this program, my mother got her MBA at Rice’s Jone’s Business school and loved the experience. She reflected that aside for a few accounting/other classes she needed to take since she didn’t major in business as an undergrad, she had no idea what her fellow students who did undergrad business at their various schools did for the past 4 years (in other words, she caught up quickly and felt like undergrad business wasn’t well spent time).

If I were a minority and non-Catholic, I would feel more out of place at Notre Dame. While Notre Dame looks like a fun school and more sports than Rice which contributes to school spirit, I would prefer Rice’s culture. I also think Rice is good for an introvert (I’m fairly introverted and am strongly considering Rice right now) because the strong sense of community in residential colleges sounds like it would facilitate making friends (you see the same people a lot and forge strong relationships with them), and it fosters a very accepting culture. I’m impressed with everything I’ve seen regarding Rice’s job placement, but then again I’m interested in engineering.

Is Rice $10K more a year, or total? Would that $10K be in loans?

I agree that Rice would be the better choice when you consider the religious aspect of ND.

Rice’s job placement if you are looking into working on wall street etc isn’t that great.

I would save the money and go with Notre Dame.
