<p>Def not American- it has a really high transfer rate, and even though I'm considering transfering from tech ti has nothing to do with not liking the school, where as ive had friends who HATED AU so much they left after the first semester. Be ware of extremely liberal attitudes if you can't live in a community like that at AU</p>
<p>I would recommend JMU. IMO, it is better than Richmond or VT. However, If you are accepted to UVA, then go there. UVA is the cream of the crop.</p>
<p>If you are interested in VA schools, also look into Washington&Lee and Lynchburg College.</p>
<p>When I think of American, I think more poli sci, I would say JMU, but it depends on what kind of campus atmosphere you want also.</p>
