I have heard that JMU can be difficult predicting admissions..any opinions based on my grades/activities. I don't know exactly what they look for in students compared to what other schools look for but I know I've heard stories where realyl strong students have gotten rejected and weaker ones accepted...who knows! Anyways..here are the stats
Top 15% - very competitive in state school
4.5 w, 3.86 uw
1910 sats
1 AP Junior year/4 APs Senior year/ 1 Dual Enrollment Science/ all other honors when available
varsity sport 9-12; honor council rep.; president of theatre; NHS; SHS; full time job; volunteer work; etc. etc.
jmu admission v. mary wash / univ. of Richmond admission comparable at all?

in my opinion, you're in. unless there's something really weird, i would say it's very favorable in your direction

from what i gather, it seems relatively easy to get in--

need: 3.5, average sat 1100-1200, i guess a few extracurrics...

idk, i have 3.433, 9 ib/ap, some extra currics including important work experience that will play a role when i'm going to grad school. i learned of my acceptance today.

but i don't really like the school-- it didn't feel like home. uva and vt felt more like home... kind of ironic, isn't it.

oos or in state? i still havent heard..

in-state..........
